Richie's Wish

Richie's wish was founded in 2019 in memory of Richie Quinn-Delewski, who passed away at the age of 23 from complications of Cystic Fibrosis. Richie spent many years of his childhood in foster care . As a young adult he worked with a local foster closet to try to improve availability of new toys for children in foster care He believed it was very important that children in care are provided with toys that are chosen just for them and that the spaces they are offered to play in (including spaces where visits occur) are well designed and thoughtfully planned. After Richie passed away a memorial fund was established to honor his memory and continue his work. Richie's Wish aspires to provide toys and play spaces for children in foster care in Berks and surrounding counties.
