Youth Environmental Advocates Be Heard!

Are you interested in environmental sustainability and the future of our city? Would you like your concerns as young adults to be heard by today’s local government leaders? Join us for a virtual meeting as we speak with the City of Reading's Community Outreach and Education Coordinator, Bethany Ayers-Fisher. Bethany is developing Reading's 3-year Climate Action Plan and wants to hear from youth. We will be discussing what sustainability looks like (e.g. green house gas emissions, storm water management, drinking water supply, etc.) as well as what are students' greatest concerns and priorities for the environment. Your comments will be included as part of the Climate Action Plan before it is presented to Reading City Council.
