Summer Day Camp Series - Park It!
Join us for our second Summer Day Camp Series event in City Park! Camp participants will learn how to use community design and urban planning to shape their communities. Youth will identify the community, individual, and environmental benefits of local parks and learn how to assess the health of a park. They will also learn the simple actions they can take to enhance a park’s positive impact on the community. The day will culminate in the building and painting of new benches to be placed in a newly designed rest area in City Park.
Registration is open to all youth, ages 11-18
