MLK and the Philosophy of Nonviolent Resistance

In this Youth Volunteer Corps project we will review MLK’s 6 principals of nonviolence and his 6 principals for nonviolent direct action. Students will discuss upcoming opportunities to participate in nonviolent direct action and work together on creating a public art installation demonstrating personal support for justice, equality, diversity, and inclusion. The large art piece will be displayed in the window of Berks County Community Foundation during Black History Month. This project for youth age 11-18 will be held via zoom.
